Raising kids is a blessing, I think. I can still remember what it was like, back when I was still single, and not yet a father. I had my goals and my ambition. I had my idea of what life might be like five or ten years down the road. I knew that I eventually wanted to get married, and start a family. Children force you to focus your efforts in a way, that few other things can. The knowledge that there are these young people in your home, who are almost completely helpless when it comes to taking care of themselves, and providing for their needs, so that they are almost completely dependent on you for their survival and welfare, forces you to make important decisions very quickly.
That said, parenting is tough and providing for the little ones in today’s world can be quite difficult, where even some of the more basic needs of kids can be so expensive. Life can be pretty difficult, and when it comes to your children especially, any and all help is welcome.
