Ares — What Is Ares? Tell Me More!

March 3rd, 2010

Ares is getting a lot of attention and is very quickly becoming the most popular music download site on the ‘Net.  Ares, named after the Greek god of strength, has taken the world of music downloading to new heights with a few flex of its downloading muscles.  There is strength in numbers as proven by over 30 million delighted users who are now downloading to their heart’s content. Ares is an open source peer-to-peer network that is easy to install and connects fast because it is an open source network (it’s free).  Yes, free!  Plus, so easy to navigate that your download expertise will come quickly.  Ares also offers an astounding 100 million titles to choose from and is adding new ones every day. From hard core rock and roll, to reggae, to hip hop, to James Taylor, it’s there.  If you love Latin music, you have hit the mother lode.

And, oh do I love Latin music!  I have a full appreciation of the soulful, romantic, and sometimes kinetic energy that Latin music exudes.  No problem finding what I want on Ares either; it’s all there.

I also discovered, while navigating the site, that Ares had the brilliant presence of mind to build in chat rooms and instant messaging features to make it easy to join the Latin music lover’s community.  If I have a question for anyone who is more knowledgeable about Latin music than I am, I just step in and ask away.  So far, I have learned, taught, shared, and exchanged music ideas with others from all over the world. Ares takes only minutes to install, has quick and efficient connectivity, simple to navigate, and over 100 million titles.  Get moving!
